Classes + Workshops

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a type of energy work and stress-relief technique from Japan. Mikao Usui was credited as founder of Reiki about 1922. Reiki is guided by spiritual consciousness and is defined as spiritually guided life energy.

In general, Rei means universal and Ki means Life force energy. All energy healing uses chi or ki, but Rei is unique to Reiki. Reiki Practitioners are attuned to Rei or spiritual consciousness by a Reiki Master. Because Reiki is guided by universal consciousness, it can never do harm. I have been certified in Holy Fire Reiki Levels I and II and Reiho Reiki Level I and practicing Reiki since 2019.

Check out the videos below to learn a bit more about Reiki’s history and application.
